Hope graduated from LSU with a Masters in Counselor Education. In 2004, she became a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. After receiving her PhD in Behavioral Science through California University and opened her first private practice, New Orleans Counseling & Hypnosis Center, in 2011. 3 years later she opened her second practice, Theratique, with a mission of creating a place of rest, relaxation, and centering for all of its clients. While Hope works with a broad spectrum of clients, she has worked to expand her areas of expertise to include depression and anxiety stemming from maternity and family planning as well as the trials and tribulations thereof. Motivated by her personal experiences on the path to motherhood, Hope draws from her own struggles with IVF and adoption navigation to help her clients. She is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address their personal life challenges.

Lauren received her Master’s Degree in clinical mental health counseling at LSU Health Sciences Center- New Orleans in 2021. She specializes in working with those who are struggling with trauma, anger, or emotional dysregulation. Additionally, she works with couples and families who are looking to improve communication, enhance intimacy within their relationship or maneuver life transitions/conflicts within themselves and/or family members.

She operates from a person-centered, trauma-focused, and attachment-based approach. During sessions, she predominantly works from an emotionally-focused (EFT) perspective, bringing in elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). We move at your pace, to get “un-stuck”, and increase your strengths in order to move forward and thrive.

Jeanette received her master's degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is currently an advanced doctoral student at Capella University. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. She welcomes working with a diverse population of couples, adolescents, and adults, including but not limited to those with mood disorders, trauma/stress-related disorders, specific learning disorders, and ADHD.

She approaches the counseling process from a client-centered perspective in that she sees the client/counselor relationship as key to the client’s growth. Exploring the client’s family system is important and discussed in order to better understand her clients’ issues and to develop solutions.

Samantha has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans and is a trained, and certified in Hypnosis. Operating from a multicultural feminist perspective, Samantha provides a safe and non-judgmental space to a diverse range of clients where they may feel empowered with the skills to access their own inner resilience and wisdom; as well as tools to find community resources that help build supportive networks for lasting emotional well-being. Integrating somatic therapy, breathwork, and expressive arts therapy with traditional talk therapy, she strives to create a collaborative experience where the client may feel free to express themselves at their own pace. Samantha has experience working with trauma and loss, anxiety and depression, neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ and gender affirming care. She has worked as a professional teaching and touring performing artist, and in the spa/wellness industry in New Orleans for over 20 years. She also has a background in physical therapy and experience in treating patients with chronic illness and disability. She combines these healing arts to form a creative and holistic approach addressing mind, body, and soul.

Daniela Zapata earned a Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University in 2019. As a previous high school teacher and mental health community advocate, she has experience working with a wide range of ages and people of different cultural backgrounds. She adopts a holistic approach to therapy and believes collaboration is essential in order to reach the client's desired results. Daniela utilizes therapeutic techniques from Solutions Focus Therapy , Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to address anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, grief, and relationship/marital concerns. Justine graduated with her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in August 2024 and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lesley University in 2019. Her therapy style uses creativity in a gentle but evidence-based approach to support individuals in gaining inner peace as well as a sense of belonging, purpose, and fulfillment. Within Justine’s therapeutic approach, she encourages clients to safely explore childhood experiences, behavioral patterns, unconscious conditioning, and difficult emotions to identify what may no longer be serving them and ultimately process unresolved challenges so that they can live in their potential.  While Justine does specialize in working with adults with substance use, anxiety, and trauma challenges, she is experienced in supporting individuals with a variety of symptoms and disorders.

A native of New Orleans, Emily Buse holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Holy Cross University. She is currently a PLPC working under the supervision of April Ivy, LPC-S. After taking some personal time to be a full time mom, she is thrilled to be back seeing clients again. She specializes in working with adults struggling mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, addiction, grief, and women’s health and, since having added motherhood to her repertoire, she has also developed a passion for working with mothers navigating postpartum.

She approaches counseling from a person-centered, eclectic and holistic perspective, using a blend of cognitive behavioral, existential, solution-focused, and psychoeducation, with an aim to create a warm and inviting space, free from judgment or expectation. She chooses to focus on clients strengths, while also identifying areas for growth so as to empower clients to overcome personal obstacles. By redirecting clients’ negative thinking patterns towards healthier outlooks, the goal of her approach is that they may learn to navigate their circumstance from a different perspective. She is steadfast in the belief that there is always hope and that no mistake in life can’t be undone.

Amanda Collins is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana with a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University of Louisiana. She spent six years working in special education before transitioning into counseling, which shaped how she approaches clinical work—grounded, relational, and deeply respectful of each person's lived experience.

Amanda specializes in working with individuals and couples navigating perinatal mental health, sexual trauma, identity development, life transitions, and relationship concerns. She is passionate about providing affirming, trauma-informed care to LGBTQIA+ clients and other marginalized communities. Amanda's clinical approach is integrative, drawing on attachment theory, narrative work, and parts-based therapy to help clients make sense of where they’ve been and figure out where they want to go.
