Samantha has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans and is a trained, and certified in Hypnosis. Operating from a multicultural feminist perspective, Samantha provides a safe and non-judgmental space to a diverse range of clients where they may feel empowered with the skills to access their own inner resilience and wisdom; as well as tools to find community resources that help build supportive networks for lasting emotional well-being. Integrating somatic therapy, breathwork, and expressive arts therapy with traditional talk therapy, she strives to create a collaborative experience where the client may feel free to express themselves at their own pace. Samantha has experience working with trauma and loss, anxiety and depression, neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ and gender affirming care. She has worked as a professional teaching and touring performing artist, and in the spa/wellness industry in New Orleans for over 20 years. She also has a background in physical therapy and experience in treating patients with chronic illness and disability. She combines these healing arts to form a creative and holistic approach addressing mind, body, and soul.
